Electrolyte imbalance: Aloe juice if used frequently can decrease potassium level that lead to heart problems. Stimulant laxatives are found in aloe juice that actually cause electrolyte imbalance or dehydration subjected to frequent intake.
Aloe interaction with drugs: Aloe juice should not be used with medications such as anti-diabetes drubs, diuretic drugs, anesthesia prescription such as sevoflurane, and stimulant laxatives as aloe interacts negatively with them.
During Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Aloe should not be used during pregnancy because of fact “aloe posse’s irritant and purgative property”. During breastfeeding aloe can create negative impact on baby by causing diarrhea.
